Our story

A local team built on kindness, consistency and care.

Niamz Companions was founded to fill a quiet gap in social care: the kind of support that isn't medical, but is just as essential. Friendship. Routine. Someone to share a cup of tea with.

Who we are

People you can trust in your home.

We work alongside families, social workers and community organisations across Glasgow and Lanarkshire to provide reliable companionship and non-medical support.

Whether it's a weekly walk in the park, help getting to a hospital appointment, or simply someone to talk to, our role is to bring warmth and consistency to everyday life.

We're proud members of Befriending Networks, listed on ALISS, and a Living Wage accredited employer.

Our values

What we stand for.

Dignity first

Every visit is built around the person, never a checklist. We listen, we adapt, and we treat each home as our own.

Carefully matched

We take time to pair clients with companions based on personality, interests and routine. Never assigned at random.

Locally rooted

We're Glasgow and Lanarkshire-based. Our companions live in the communities they serve and know the area well.

Fairly paid

As a Living Wage employer we invest in our team, because well-supported companions deliver better, more consistent care.
